Cassie Solaguren

Cassie Solaguren is Head of People at SmartSuite, where she leads the company's people strategy across talent, onboarding, culture, compensation, and employee experience. She partners with leadership to build the people practices and programs that support a high-performing, connected team as SmartSuite grows.

Before joining SmartSuite, Cassie served as Senior Director of Global Human Resources at WeVideo, where she led global HR initiatives spanning employee engagement, retention, onboarding, compensation, and organizational change. She also founded WeVideo's global Culture Club to foster connection and community across a distributed workforce. With more than a decade of human resources experience across SaaS, e-commerce, government contracting, and staffing, she brings a broad perspective on building people functions that scale with growing organizations.

Cassie holds a bachelor's degree in Labor Studies and Employment Relations from Penn State University. She is passionate about building a workplace where people feel connected, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
