What's a Solution?
A Solution is a collection of applications (tables) that have been configured to manage a workflow process or project within your organization. For example, you could use a solution to mange your sales process or a client project.
What's Activity History?
SmartSuite maintains a history of all the changes that have been made to a single record or administrative function for the term stated in your selected plan. Members with appropriate permissions can see the date and time of these activities, the initiating user and the details of the changes made.
What's a Solution Template?

What's a Field?
A Field is a particular data type or data reference that can be associated within a record. SmartSuite includes over 40 field types that you can select from when configuring a solution. What's a Recycle Bin?
With SmartSuite you don’t have to worry about accidentally deleting a critical customer record, transaction detail or project plan. The system saves every deleted record to a Recycle Bin, allowing you to recover your data with a single click during the term stated in your selected plan.
Can I create custom Solutions?
Absolutely! If you have a specific business process that is not supported by a template, no problem! SmartSuite allows you to create Solutions and Tables from scratch, using our robust set of fields in the Solution Builder interface to build exactly what you need.
Plans
Can I change my plan?
Yes! You’re never locked into a plan with SmartSuite and you can change your plan at any time. Need to add or remove users? No problem, update your subscription in just a few clicks. To change your plan just navigate to the Plans and Billing option in Account Administration.
What happens if usage limits are reached for my selected plan?
If you reach a plan’s record or attachment limit you’ll still be able to to see and manage your attachments. We’ll let you know about the overage, and give you a grace period to find a plan that fits your needs. After the grace period, if you don't change your plan, you won't be able to upload new attachments.
Which Plan is right for me?
SmartSuite was created to address the needs of all types of businesses and their own unique requirements. We offer several subscription plans that allow you to find the perfect fit for your organization. We encourage you to try out SmartSuite with our 30-day free Professional version trial. Can I cancel my plan?
You're free to cancel at any time. When you cancel your plan, you will remain on the plan until the end of your current billing cycle, at which time the plan will be automatically canceled.
How many users can be in my account?
Smartsuite can support between 1 and 10,000 users per account.
Free Trial
What are my payment options?
If you would like to continue using SmartSuite after your trial has ended, you will need to select a plan, determine the number of users and enter your credit card information. If you choose not to select a plan and add a credit card, your Account will be disabled and you won’t be able to access any of the features you used during the Trial. However, we’ll keep everything as you left it, and you're welcome to log back in anytime to sign up for a paid plan and continue using SmartSuite.
Do I have to wait until the end of my trial to subscribe to a paid plan?
No. You are welcome to select a plan and enter billing information at any time during the trial.
Can my co-workers join my free trial?
Yes, you can invite up to 50 people to join your SmartSuite trial. Simply click the “Invite Members” link on your Home Page and enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite.
Billing
What are my payment options?
Payments for all plans can be made using any major credit card. For Enterprise plans that meet a minimum fee we also provide an annual billing option where payments can be made via ACH, wire transfer, or company check.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?
We offer a 50% discount for the lifetime of the account. We require 501c3 documentation or any legal documentation that declares you a nonprofit. We will then create a one-time use coupon code that you can use during check out to apply the discount.
What’s the difference between annual and monthly billing?
The difference is how often you pay your subscription fee. With monthly billing, you will be charged on the same day each month. With annual billing, you are charged once for the whole year (on the same day you started the subscription).
