Peter Novosel

Peter Novosel is a co-founder of SmartSuite and its Chief Product & Innovation Officer. He leads product research, design and development for the platform, directing a global technology team that builds the data model, automation, AI and no-code capabilities customers use to run GRC, resilience, IT service delivery and business operations in one place. He has held the company's senior product role since June 2019, first as Chief Technology Officer.

Peter has more than 30 years of experience in B2B and enterprise software. He joined Archer Technologies in Overland Park, Kansas, in 2004 and served as Vice President of Products and Chief Technology Officer, helping to build one of the first enterprise governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platforms, one that served 25 of the Fortune 100 by the time EMC Corporation agreed to acquire it in January 2010. He stayed with the product inside RSA until 2012 as Director of GRC Platform Strategy, as it became RSA Archer. He was then Executive Vice President of Operations at C2FO, where he built and led the teams that implemented the company's working capital marketplace, and later led GRC consulting practices at Novos Strategic Technology and eGRC.COM. His earlier career in Austin and Chicago spanned product and professional-services leadership at iChat, NowDocs and Taylor Corporation, and the founding of an e-commerce enablement company.

Peter holds a BA in history and political science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. At SmartSuite he is one of the named reviewers of the company's framework and glossary reference pages and writes about platform design, integrations and the practical use of AI in work management. He works with SmartSuite's engineering teams across Europe, the Middle East and the United States to turn customer problems into product.
