Preston Gillum

Preston Gillum is GRC Product Manager at SmartSuite, where she leads product direction for SmartSuite's governance, risk, and compliance solutions. She works with customers, sales, and engineering to turn GRC requirements into practical, AI-native workflows that connect risks, controls, issues, and evidence in one platform.

Before joining SmartSuite in 2025, Preston spent six years at Archer Integrated Risk Management, where she progressed from a sales engineering intern, to Associate Sales Engineer, and then Client Success Manager, helping enterprise risk and compliance teams design, enhance, and get value from their GRC programs. That customer-facing background shapes her product work today: dashboards that drive action, AI agents that take real work off a GRC team's plate, and solutions that move teams from spreadsheets to scalable systems of record.

Preston holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Kansas State University. She regularly shares her perspective on AI in GRC, issue materiality, and practical risk management with the GRC community.
