How does TeamDynamix calculate its pricing?

It’s often the case with ITSM tools to charge you based on your user count and required features, but finding how TeamDynamix really calculates its pricing was not easy.

According to an article published by the Michigan Technology Community back in 2020, the University of Michigan’s statewide IT license provides “unlimited enterprise licensing and multi-tenant capabilities” to let the school spin up their own TDX instances without extra user fees.

Additionally, one license tier can cover multiple (or all?) modules: Michigan’s deal even “included the TeamDynamix Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module”.

TeamDynamix currently, to our knowledge, does not offer a free plan or a free trial of its ITSM solution.

Is TeamDynamix worth the cost in 2026?

TeamDynamix is an enterprise-grade ITSM and PPM platform that was built to support complex service management environments.

And, honestly, the platform offers an all-around good value for money: with dozens of satisfied customers across different review platforms and threads explaining that they’re happy with the tool’s implementation process, strong workflow capabilities, and ability to support multiple departments beyond IT, including HR and facilities.
